An old friend, Thad is a huge fan of this band and sent me a bunch of their music a few months back. I didn't really start listening to it until a few weeks ago, in preparation of seeing them live. I actually missed the live show (thought they were the closing band and in fact they were an opener). I really like them alot and have been listening to them more. Los Angeles is a great poppy song.

Titus Andronicus - Titus Andronicus. I'll write my masterpiece some other day
This album came out awhile ago, but I just downloaded it. And, its quickly becoming a favorite. Lots of stream of conscious lyrics, lots of noise, lots of passion. This song in particular is filled with alot of self-doubt. So great.

Just bought Wilco's new album on presale via the wilcoworld website. Yes, album. I trying to buy more new stuff on vinyl - usually you'll get the mp3 downloads, plus a bunch of other cool stuff with the vinyl version. With the viny presale purchase, I got this download immediately - makes me excited for wilco (the album).

I have no idea what this song is about - but it is awesome. We have two wilco songs this week because Wilco is coming in concert in 1 week and I am freaking excited. Speaking of - you can check out my Bay Area Concert Calendar here or on the side panel of this blog. There a many wilco songs I could play, but I chose Spiders (Kidsmoke) because it was one of my favorites from seeing Wilco last summer at Lollapalooza.
