Midweek music fix

This weeks list has more Neutral Milk Hotel, The XX and Fruit Bats.

Intro - The XX. I'm still listening to this album alot. This is a the first song on the album and does a great job setting the vibe for the whole thing.

Set out Running - Neko Case. Neko is coming to the hardly strictly bluegrass festival. Hoping to see her this weekend.

Oh Comely - Neutral Milk Hotel. Neutral Milk Hotel has been on repeat on my ipod for the last few weeks.

Out of the Water - The Suckers.
I think I've had another Suckers song on the midweek music fix before. This one sounds similar to the first one.

Hallucinations - The Raveonettes. The Raveonettes might be my favorite band right now.

Being on Our Own - The Fruit Bats. Its hard to pull out one song from this album because I think its best listened to as one whole album. But, this is a good start.

The Wolves (act I and II) - Bon Iver
. Saw Bon Iver a week ago and, as Scott Orn pointed out, this was the highlight of the show.

No Children - The Mountain Goats. Such a great song, that I can't believe I only now just discovered it. Best part of the song, these lines:

Our friends say it's darkest before the sun rises
We're pretty sure they're all wrong
I hope it stays dark forever
I hope the worst isn't over
And I hope you blink before I do
Yeah I hope I never get sober
