Concert Calendar Top Picks for the week (Sept 28-Oct 4)

Here's whats up this week in the bay area:

Tuesday and Wednesday: Mason Jennings @ the Great American Music Hall
Mason Jennings creates is a folksy singer singer song writer from Minnesota. I'd like to be able to check him out, but given a busy week at work its probably not going to happen

Wednesday: Ida Maria @ The Fillmore

Ida Maria is a pop/rocker from some Scandinavian country. I had her song, "I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked" on a midweek music fix. She has other great songs and I think would be interesting to see live.

Saturday: Miike Snow @ Bottom of the Hill
SOLD OUT
Miike Snow is typical indie rock and sweedish. I was about to write that i'd be mostly excited about seeing a show at bottom of the hill; but then i realize my car was broken into there. I guess I'll take a cab.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday: The Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival.

Tons of great bands are going to be here. I'm going to try to make it at least one of the days. But some highlights

Saturday:
Okkervil River (1.35 @ the towers of gold stage)
